Dr. Ashley Ehrhardt is an experienced Illinois and Wisconsin Licensed School Psychologist and American Board of School Neuropsychology Diplomate, conducting comprehensive psychoeducational and school neuropsychological evaluations in private practice.

Specialties

Dr. Ehrhardt has specialized training in the assessment and identification of autism, ADHD, specific learning disabilities, selective mutism, giftedness, and early childhood behavior disorders. She also has extensive training in Transdisciplinary Play Based Assessments.

Education

Dr. Ehrhardt earned her Doctoral degree in Educational Psychology from National-Louis University and completed post-doctoral training in School Neuropsychology. She appreciates the value of conducting research and applying its principles to her assessments, as she obtained her Master's degree in Social Science Research at the University of Chicago.

Training & Experience

Dr. Ehrhardt's strong foundation in research continues to inform her practice today. She worked in the Preschool Behavior Problems Clinic and served as the Project Director for a National Institute of Mental Health funded research project validating the criteria used to diagnose Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder for the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders in the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Chicago.

Dr. Ehrhardt spent fifteen years conducting evaluations for the admissions committee at The Latin School of Chicago. She spent eight years as a School Psychologist for the Wilmette Public Schools in both the Early Childhood and Elementary programs and she continues to provide Independent Education Evaluations (IEE) for schools across Illinois. For multiple summer sessions, she volunteered for an intensive treatment program for children diagnosed with Selective Mutism. She has been in private practice since 2006.
